Holy Discernment

The mission of the Discernment Steering Committee is to equip Bethany’s congregation to make spiritually and materially informed decisions that enable us to best live out our disciple making mission as the Body of Christ within our church family and in our community. Our focus is on unity within the Bethany family, through respect for every voice having the opportunity to be heard and strengthening the foundation of our relationships, regardless of our differences. We will earnestly and fervently pray for the direction of the Holy Spirit to reveal God’s wisdom for guidance in this trying time. We will provide the congregation with the information and resources that will allow all to make informed decisions as we navigate through this process. We will provide opportunities to express beliefs and concerns as well as opportunities to listen to the beliefs and concerns of others. Above all, we will focus on prayer, both individually and corporately, to allow God to work through each of us to realize His will for the future of Bethany.
