Traditional Worship
Traditional Worship Services & Music Ministries
8:45AM | Traditional Worship
It is held each Sunday in the Sanctuary. Special music, hymn singing, prayers and preaching are at the center of this traditional weekly worship experience. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and is normally administered by intinction (dipping the bread in the cup). Children’s Church is available for children in kindergarten through second grade.
11:15AM | Traditional Service
It is our most formal Sanctuary service. The Chancel Choir, our most advanced adult choir, sings every Sunday morning in this service, except for several weeks in the months of July and August. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and is normally administered by intinction (dipping the bread in the cup).
Spell Chapel
Worship in Spell Chapel is held at 8:00AM Sunday mornings. This early morning traditional service is very simple in its format and reflects the worship traditions of an earlier time in Methodism. The music is from the Cokesbury hymnal. Holy Communiion is observed on the first Sunday of the month.
Word & Table
Welcome to Word & Table
Welcome to Word & Table, the Contemporary offering of Worship at Bethany United Methodist Church. We gather in the Fellowship Hall of Bethany each Sunday to enjoy a fresh made biscuit and beverage as worship begins at 8.45 am. Join us as we celebrate the Love of Christ each week in worship.
What To Expect
Word & Table is the Contemporary offering of worship at Bethany UMC. W&T is a held in a casual environment where we engage through singing songs of praise, prayer, and receiving a message relevant to our daily walk by our pastor. Holy Communion is served each week and is offered to all.
Children’s Church is available for children in kindergarten through second grade.
